Boys Club holds celebration on tenth birthday. Ten boys lit 10 candles on the huge birthday cake Thursday when some 300 boys and officials of the Fort Worth Boys Club celebrated the 10th anniversay of its founding. The celebration was held at the club building, 200 Ellis. Mrs. Hazel Leigh, club suuperintendent , sketched the history of the organized, and presented Billy Burklow, first boy to join the club, on Feb. 1, 1935, with a sterling name bracelet as a gift from the Women's Council, Billy, now is a senior at North Side High School. His mother, Mrs. D.W. Bynum, was a guest. The candle lighters included, Billy Burklow, Billy Strittmatter, Wallace Webb, Rex Bowers, Kenneth Wilson, Harry Kirk, John Starns and Wallace Hooper.
