Officials from the Burlington-Rock Island Railroad Company are guests at a dinner at the Fort Worth Club. They are meeting to talk with shippers, private traffic managers and officers of the Fort Worth and Denver City Railway. Attending the dinner, left to right, are J. D. Lamson, L. R. Capron, and C. S. Edmonds. Mr. Lamson, is the director of Burlington's department of industry and agriculture. He is dressed in a three-piece pinstripe suit. Mr. Capron is the vice president in charge of traffic for the Burlington Lines. He is wearing a three-piece suit. Mr. Edmonds is the Texas freight traffic manager for Burlington Lines in Texas. He is dressed in a three-piece, double breasted suit. All three men are wearing ties and Mr. Lamson and Mr. Edmonds are having eyeglasses on. Mr. Edmonds is accompanying two officials Mr. Lamson and Mr. Capron on their inspection trip to Dallas and Houston. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, January 31, 1945.
