Side by side with civilian workers, soldiers with machine shop experience turn out artillery shells at American Manufacturing Company. Private Leroy Renninger, left, is shown operating a center boring machine, next to the one operated by Fred Like. Private Renninger is wearing his military uniform and he and Mr. Like are wearing protective aprons and gloves. Pubished in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, January 29, 1945.
