Description

Students of the graduating class of J. P. Elder Junior High School who received honor awards were, left to right, Lucille Shockey and Don Harris. Miss Shockey, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. I. L. Shockey, received the Danforth Foundation honor award. Mr. Harris, son of Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Harris, received the J. P. Elder Merit certificate. They are standing against a bare wall. Miss Shockey is wearing a blouse, blazer and skirt and Mr. Harris is wearing a plaid shirt. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram, morning edition, January 26, 1945.
