Staff Sergeant John P. Brodie, Denison, Texas, awarded Bronze Star. A picture of a man wearing a military uniform. "Denison Sergeant Gets Bronze Star -- DENISON, Jan. 24 (Spl).--Staff Sgt. John P. Brodie has been awarded the Bronze Star Medal in Germany where he is serving with a 2nd Division infantry unit. No details have been received here by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Brodie.Brodie also holds the Purple Heart. He was wounded in France last July."
