Bowen Trailways bus drivers, W. A. Chappelear, left, and E. L. Cunningham, right, look over the back pay checks which precipitated a strike on the company's lines earlier in the week. Mr. Chappelear is wearing a suit and hat and Mr. Cunningham is wearing a shirt, trousers, coat, and a hat with a pin on it that reads "Trailways." Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram, morning edition, January 20, 1945.
