Description
W. A. Chappelear, bus driver for Bowen Trailway buses, is signing the "in-and-out" sheet before starting the trip from Fort Worth, Texas to Wichita Falls, Texas. He is wearing a suit and hat. Above the counter with the sign-in sheet is a bulletin board with various notices pinned to it. This is one of the first Bowen Trailway buses leaving the city after a two-day drivers' strike. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram, morning edition, January 18, 1945.
