The preliminary tournaments are closed and eighteen representative districts will be competing in the Golden Gloves State Tournament. Cecil Finfrock, of Waco, Texas, sponsored a Central Texas District Tournament. His entries for the state tournament are Ray Snokhams (featherweight), Lloyd Densman (featherweight), Jim Beard (lightweight), Otto Stasci (welterweight), Alvin Leuck (middleweight), and George Gaynor (light-heavyweight). Mr. Finfrock is the also the director of the Waco Boys Club. He is shown standing against a wall, dressed in a double breasted suit.
