Description
Boxers throughout the city are training for the upcoming Golden Gloves District Tournament in Fort Worth, Texas. Working on a speed bag is E. D. Peacock. He is a sixteen year old student at Polytechnic High School. He will be competing in the lightweight class of the high school division bouts. Eight other Poly Parrots are entered in the tournament. Peacock is wearing boxing gloves and trunks. The photograph was published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, on the morning of January 18, 1945.
