Description

Star-Telegram Quiz Contest on the United States Constitution. Almost 3,000 senior high school students registered for the contest. Faye Cole, 16, Masonic Home senior who placed second and will receive a cash award of $250. Winning that prize was the deciding factor in her decision to enter college. She will be attending the University of Texas after graduation. Her brother is Pfc. Jack Cole serving in the Western Front in Europe. They are orphans. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, December 18, 1944.
