Star-Telegram Quiz Contest on the United States Constitution. Almost 3,000 senior high school students registered for the contest. Evelyn Smith, 16, from Paschal High School senior, who is the first grand prize winner will receive the $1,000 four-year scholarship to Texas Christian University, Texas Women University, Our Lady of Victory College or the Baptist Seminary. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bennett L. Smith. Published in the Fort Worth Start Telegram morning edition, December 18, 1944.
