Description
George McLin, shown with toys he has made. The photograph shows Mr. McLin in a wood working shop. He is wearing a short-sleeve button down top with a collar, pants and glasses. There is a tobacco pipe in his mouth. He is holding a wooding frame in his left hand and a hammer in his right. There is a wood working bench in front of the him covered in numerous, short length slats and small paint cans. The wood working bench has a closed drawer. There are two wooden strips attached to the wall in front of the man. On each strip, there are nails which are being used to hold an assortment of wood working tools and nails. Some of the tools visible are a hand saw, leveler, straight edge steel square and several metal files. To the right of the tools, there is a window with curtains drawn back by ribbons. Behind him there is a storage area holding extra wooden slats and other wooden items. There is a patterned curtain partially covering this area. Hanging above the curtained off area are three wooden dining chairs. Directly behind the Mr. McLin, there is a wooden stool. Hanging above the window is a small globe light with a pull cord.
