    Corporal Richard C. Schmidt, left, of Columbus, greeting his former commander, Lieutenant Colonel Andrew F. Price , right, of Fort Worth. In the photograph, the two men are standing in front of a blank wall, smiling at each other and shaking hands. Corporal Schmidt is wearing a four-pocket army uniform, collared shirt, tie and a hat. There are several medals on the upper left pocket and a pin on each lapel. There is a Tech 3rd Grade Chevron patch on his right arm. Lieutenant Price is wearing a tweed, double breasted suit, tie, collared shirt, left sided lapel pin, and a fedora hat. He has a ring on his left ring finger. In is left hand, he is holding a lit cigar and a cane. Corporal Schmidt served under Lt. Col. Price in the 36th Division, including combat in North Africa and Italy. Corporal Schmidt is greeted by his former commander upon his arrival in Fort Worth on Saturday. Both men are participating in the 6th War Loan Drive's Infantry Show over the weekend.
