Description

These Frog cagers are expected to be among the starters when the Texas Christian University basketball team opens its conference season against the University of Texas. The players are, left to right, Gene Schmidt, center, George Sauer, guard, and Keith Hensley, forward. The players are standing next to each other and wearing their uniforms, which consist of a sleeveless shirt with their player number and shorts. Mr. Schmidt is number 31, Mr. Sauer is number 32, and Mr. Hensley is number 23. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram, evening edition, January 5, 1945.
