Description
General Jose M. Moncada, former president of Nicaragua. Gen. Moncada is bound from Los Angeles to New Orleans and back to one of the United Nations, is firm in the belief that a new era of continental understanding and piece has come to the stormy republics of bygone days. He expects the postwar years to see Latin America linked in trade and progress and hopes for his own country the development of another transcontinental ship canal, from the Atlantic to the Pacific via a 100-mile-long Lake Nicaragua. Gen. Moncada is standing against a wall wearing a suit and is holding a coat.
