Sergeant (Sgt.) Samuel E. Gentry is a soldier with the Army Air Forces (AAF) ground crew. He is home, visiting his parents Mr. and Mrs. S. W. Gentry in Fort Worth, Texas, on a furlough. Sergeant (Sgt.) Gentry spent thirty-three months in India with the 10th Air Force. He is a former student of Pascal High School. He is shown standing against a wall, dressed in his military uniform. He will report to Santa Ana, California for reassignment on December 19, 1944. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, December 2, 1944.
