At the Sixth War Loan Drive parade, the largest gun in the two-mile long procession was this 155 mm. howitzer, a $183,000 piece of United States fighting equipment. It is displayed on a trailer pulled by a military truck. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, November 21, 1944.
