A group of newspaper writers, officials of the General Tire and Rubber Company and two Lufkin citizens were presented with a Shady Oak hat. Standing, left to right, Harold Brady, Lufkin, Texas; Howard Suttle, Washington; Ace Bailey, Memphis, Tennessee; Neal Stanford, Washington; Dean Lampman, Akron, Ohio; Gordon Langston, Lufkin, Texas. Kneeling Byron C. Utecht, Fort Worth Star-Telegram; George Dixon, Washington; Ed Butler, Akron, Ohio; E. J. Eble, Akron, Ohio and Watson Fenimore, Washington. The men are dressed in hats and suits. A few men are wearing overcoats.
