Description
Sergeant W. C. O. Harris Junior, a veteran of eight months service as a B-24 aerial engineer and gunner in North Africa and Italy. The flier has participated in 50 missions and is credited with one enemy plane destroyed and the one damaged. He holds the Distinguished Flying Cross, the Air Medal with four clusters, and two battle stars for the Italian and southern France campaigns. Sergeant Harris is standing in front of a wall wearing his military uniform.
