Description
Private J. K. Chancy and his bride display the 18-foot Italian fascist flag he captured on a raiding party near Anzio beachhead. Chancy was wounded in the right eye which caused him to be invalided back from the front. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, November 15, 1944.
