Description

Major Walter Holloway Bush in his military uniform. He is visiting his cousin Bush Jones of 3324 Cockrell in Fort Worth, Texas after being in India for 2 1/2 years. Major Bush was with the first unit of U.S. Troops to land in India in March 1942. He is a graduate of Texas Christian University, the son of Mrs. and Mrs. Walter Bush of Mckinney, received his M. D. from the University of Texas medical school in Galveston. After his leave he will report to Florida for assignment. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, November 14, 1944.
