Description

Major T. O. Booth, veterinarian in the Infantry is stationed at Camp Croft, South Carolina for the last 19 months. He is wearing a military uniform in this half length portrait. He inspects foodstuff, purchases meat for his camp and oversees shipment and looks after camp sanitation and health. He is a veteran of World War I. His family serves in the military as well. Son, T. J. Booth is aviation machinist mate fist class at Corpus Christ ; another son, John Booth is sound mechanic second class in the Southwest Pacific,and son-in-law, Lieutenant H. R. Rice is a bombardier in Florida. His wife, Mrs. Books keeps the family ranch near Springtown in operation. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, November 13, 1944.
