Scenes at the annual luncheon party given Monday, October 30 by J. R. Hill, a Fort Worth oil man and prominent Methodist lay leader with his wife and daughter, Miss Laura E. Hill at the Blackstone Hotel. The luncheon was to honor Bishop A. Frank Smith. Bishop A. Frank Smith and J. R. Hill are shaking hands. The American flag is in the background. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, October 31, 1944.
