Mrs. Lois Post, deputy district clerk, ties traditional black ribbon which binds the papers that will accompany George Duke to the penitentiary at Huntsville, Texas, where he is sentenced to die December 6th, 1944, in the electric chair. Mrs. Post is sitting at a desk, behind her is window and a water cooler. There is a telephone on the desk. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, October 29, 1944.
