Description
Harvey Fred Stigler, 51 year old had been hiding from justice for 13 years. He used to be a Fort Worth's used car salesman and one time Erath County school teacher, who left Sugarland farm of the Texas penitentiary back in 1931 a day ahead of his discharge date because he knew there was a hold order awaiting him the wardens office and that it meant returning to court for trail on charges of forgery , theft by conversion and various other offenses nearly a score of Texas towns. In the picture you can see Mr. Stigler standing in front of a wall with a very serious expression, wearing a long sleeve shirt, pants, and eyeglasses.
