Description

"Butch" the lion cub has returned to the Forest Park Zoo after fifteen months of service. Butch became a "lion pilot" with the Army Ferrying Command in Fairfax, Kansas at five months old. But Butch is no longer a little cub. According to zookeeper Julian Frazier, Butch is at just the right age to get sassy. After biting an officer, Butch was discharged from the Army. Butch is sitting at the back of his cage watching patrons of the zoo pass by.
