Description
Flem Hall, correspondent of the Star-Telegram in the European Theater of War, shown upon his return to the states. Words-even the three famous words of General Sherman-fail to carry to civilians at home the meaning of war, Flem Hall , Star-Telegram war correspondent who returned Friday from Europe, reported. "You have to see it and feel it to understand," he said. Mr. Hall is seen to be wearing a shirt and a tie. He is also seen to be wearing eyeglasses and there is a typewriter on the table in front of him. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram, morning edition, October 14, 1944.
