    Description

Mrs. Thomas M. Wood shows her souvenirs that her husband a staff sergeant in the AAF has sent her. Sgt. Wood now inside Germany writes that "the German people" are neither hostile nor friendly but just quiet. He is a pilot on a Piper Club, flying over German firing lines to spot targets for American guns. Spoons, coins, pictures, German equipment, bullets, and weapons are some of the few souvenirs Mrs. Wood appears to be displaying on her table. She appears to be wearing a black dress, and has a sword on her hands.
