Description
J. F. Moses, shows a native headdress made of shells and wood fiber sent with other souvenirs from the Southwest Pacific by his son Pfc. Hershel I. Moses of the mechanized cavalry. Pvt. Moses was awarded the Purple Heart for slight wounds on Manus Island. In the picture you can see Mr. Moses sustaining the souvenir, smiling slightly and he appears to be wearing eyeglasses, collared shirt, pants, and suspenders.
