    Description

Coinciding furloughs have reunited two Technical High School graduates who entered the AAF about the same time in 1942, received training together and then were separated at Lowry Field in Denver. Shown here are Staff Sergeants George R. Hurd, B-24 nose gunner with the 15th Air Force in Italy left, and Robert M. Foust, B-24 waist gunner with the 8th AAF in England. Both are back from Europe at about the same time to spend their furloughs together. Both men appear to be hugging each other and both are wearing their AAF uniforms.
