Shown is Lieutenant Colonel (Lt. Col.) Sinclair Baker. A man in military uniform sitting in a chair. He is smoking a cigarette. There is a bookshelf behind him. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Baker. His wife and son live in Temple, Texas. He graduated from Texas A & M University. He was a reserve officer until he went on active duty in January, 1941, with the rank of captain. He went overseas in July, 1942 and was attached to the 12th Air Force in North Africa and the 15th Air Force in Italy. After 29 months overseas, Lieutenant Colonel (Lt. Col.) Baker is visiting home on a 21-day leave. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, November 2, 1944.
