Description

J. A. Cozby, vice president of Fort Worth National Bank, was elected by directors to assume also the office of cashier. He is shown seated at a desk; right hand resting on the corner. Close to his hand are two self portraits and a written list with a pen on top. There are a stack of rubber banded cards and a man's hat on the desk. Mr. Cozby is wearing a two-tone stripe, double breasted suit, and striped tie. Behind him is a marble wall and window with blinds. He took his first job as a messenger in this bank's collection department on Jan. 1, 1919. He "earned reward for long and loyal service with the bank", said chairman E. Bewley. Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, September 29, 1944.
