Description
W. C. O. Harris, who was relieved of duties as coach at Amon Carter Riverside recently, center, tells a couple of players Jimmy Hunt, left and Leo Holliday, right, that it is their duty to their school to play football this fall. Harris attended a picnic Tuesday night at Sylvania Park, where the players called off their strike which resulted from Harris' dismissal. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram, morning edition, August 2, 1944.
