Captain Lawrence F. Liberty of Midland, Texas, is the son of Mr. and Mrs. P. H. Liberty. Captain Liberty was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross for courage, leadership, and professional skill. He is a member of a veteran 15th Air Force squadron and has flown forty-three combat missions. He also holds the Air Medal with two clusters. Captain Liberty is pictured in his Air Force uniform and pilot's coat.
