Clipping for two published photos: "Downtown vehicular traffic went one-way Monday. Left, a fewi of the northbound traffic on Main at Eighth. Right, Patrolman J. L. Nash at Houston and Seventh warns a morotist that center lanes on the one-way streets are for 'straight-ahead' driving and not for left or right turns. The motorist had started to make a left turn." "Star-Telegram Photo." the others were Published Star-Telegram Eve. Sept. 25, 1944. D. H. Johnson, patrolmen for traffic department is directing the one-way traffic. He is dressed in his uniform - a cap, button-up shirt, necktie, and trousers. There is a tie chain on his tie, his police badge, number 432, is on his leather belt, and the but of his pistol is visible on his left hip (in place to be grabbed by his right hand across his body). Johnson is wearing a ring on each hand and has a clip with three skeleton keys and a police whistle. His police is cruiser is parked behind him on the street. There is a long line of sedans parked behind Mr. Johnson.
