Bishop A. Frank Smith of Houston, Texas is greeting Texas Wesleyan College students following the first service of the college year at the Polytechnic Methodist Church. The students are, left to right, Miss Eloise Barr and Miss Johnnie Lou Hart of Eastland, Texas. Both students are wearing dresses and carry purses in their hands. Eloise Barr is shaking hands with Bishop Frank as Miss Johnnie Hart looks on smiling. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram, morning edition, September 25, 1944.
