Description
Harry L. Laue, commander of the Business and Professional Men's Post of the American Legion and general chairman of Sunday's citywide curb collection of waste paper. The photograph shows Mr. Laue kneeling on a sidewalk, near a manhole cover, tying a bundle of newspapers with rope. In front of the him is a bundle of cardboard (corrugated material) and a bundle of magazines, each tied with rope. The top magazine in the bundle depicts a Coca-Cola advertisement. The words "Borden's" and "Chateau" are showing on the top piece of cardboard in the bundle. There is a brick building behind the man with windows. He is wearing a long-sleeve collard top, decorative tie with tie tack, striped dress pants, men's dress shoes, glasses and an American Legion cap.
