Description
Harry H. Porter, former independent oil operator of Fort Worth and only relieved from duty as captain in the Army, has been elected vice president in charge of land department of the Southland Royalty Company. Commissioned as a captain, he spent 22 months in the Army. He was formerly with the States Oil Corporation of Eastland, serving as vice president before joining the International Petroleum Corporation. He wears a coat and tie and sits on a chair. There is a framed map on the wall behind him. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, August 27, 1944.
