First Lieutenant James W. Walthrall, 26, husbands of Mrs. Jackie Walthrall, and son of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Walthrall, was wounded in action in France on July 28, his third wedding anniversary. Walthrall, an infantryman, is now hospitalized in England, and said in a recent letter that he expects to be home soon. Mrs. Walthrall is the former Miss Jackie Erwin. The couple have a daughter, Sheila. Walthrall was inducted with the National Guard and has been overseas since March, 1944. He has two brothers in the service, Technical Sergeant Curtis Walthrall, infantry, Camp Van Dorn, Mississippi, and A-C Charles D. Walthrall, Selman Field, Louisiana, in advanced navigation course.
