Reverend (Rev.) P. W. Heckmann, pastor, will preach Sunday at 11 a.m. at the opening service of the new Riverside-Oakhurst Lutheran Mission, meeting temporarily in Lucas Funeral Chapel, 617 N. Sylvania. He is shown standing, facing front and wearing a suit. Reverand Heckmann, graduate of Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, was ordained, and commissioned in St. Paul's Lutheran Church July 16 to begin a new mission in this area. Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, September 9, 1944.
