    Description

Reverend Kenneth Copeland, pastor of the First Methodist Church at Haskell who is conducting a two weeks revival at the Broadway-Mulkey Methodist Church, spoke on "America's Wings" at the luncheon meeting of the Lion's Club in Hotel Texas. "America possesses wings to rise above the crisis through which we are now passing," Reverend Mr. Copeland said. "The American people have consistently been possessed of a spirit which raises them above the sordid things of life and which I like to call America's wings." Reverend Mr. Copeland was voted the outstanding Haskell citizen 1944. In this picture, he wears a suit with tie and eyeglasses.
