Mrs. E. H. Bursey, showing contents of packages that the Tarrant County Red Cross Chapter will send to soldiers overseas and in foreign stations. She is sitting at a table, wearing her Red Cross uniform. The packages read "Greetings from the AMERICAN RED CROSS" and contain items such as cigarettes, chewing gum, and small books. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, August 30, 1944.
