    Description

    "This Antinomian Star," a study of Knocky Parker by Bill Bomar. The model of the oil painting is Sergeant John (Knocky) Parker, a boogie-woogie pianist. The painting shows the pianist sitting on the piano bench wearing a sweater and trousers and has his hands clasp together on his lap. The piano is behind him. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, September 17, 1944.
