First Lieutenant (Lt.) Juanita F. Biddle of the Women's Army Corps (WAC) is the new commander over 11 counties in the Fort Worth, Texas recruiting district. She is shown standing, smiling, with her hands behind her back. She is wearing her military uniform. She graduated from Illinois State Normal University with a degree in Physical education. Lieutenant Biddle is planning an extensive tour of the 11 counties she commands. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, August 10, 1944.
