Clyde Elkins Kay, pharmacist second class, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Kay, returned home to Fort Worth, Texas for a short leave after eight months in the Solomon Islands with the United States Navy. He is standing, smiling, wearing his military uniform. Clyde obtained his degree in pharmacy from the University of Texas. He took special malaria and epidemic control work in the Naval Hospital at Betheseda, Maryland. He will be reporting August 20 to the University of Pennsylvania for special naval study. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, August 10, 1944.
