Captain W. C. Gammon, 29, is visiting his aunt and uncle in Fort Worth, Texas, along with his wife and five-year-old son Jimmie. Captain Gammon is a veteran B-17 pilot with the 8th Air Force in England. He completed 32 missions against Germany and received the Distinguished Flying Cross and the Air Medal. Captain Gammon is a graduate of Stripling High School, where he played fullback and halfback on the football team. Captain Gammon is dressed in his military uniform and is standing against a wall.
