Texas Amateur Athletic Federation (TAAF) boxing tournament. Private James Hadsen (Left), Fort Worth AAF novice heavyweight, connects with a right to the head of Private J. D. Rice, Eagle Mountain Marine, in their District TAAF title bout at La Grave. Hadsen won a three-round decision and the novice class trophy. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram, morning edition, July 29, 1944.
