Description
Seven Tarrant County men were listed as casualties Wednesday, including two killed in action, three wounded and one missing and one a prisoner of war. Private First Class Robert H. Johnson, 19, son of Mr. and Mrs. R. O. Johnson of Everman, Texas, wounded May 29 in the battle of Biak. Johnson wears his uniform in this portrait photograph. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, July 26, 1944.
