Private First Class, Howard C. Biggs, son of Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Biggs , who was wounded in Italy on July 7. Biggs is recuperating in a hospital in Italy from shoulder wounds received July 7. He has been overseas since April serving with an infantry division. He has been in the Army four years. He is pictured here -- a half bust portrait in military uniform. Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram, morning edition, July 25, 1944.
