Municipalities League. Mayor Conrad Russell (right) of Weatherford, who presided at the board meeting held at Hotel Texas, named a committee of 58 members to draft proposed legislation authorizing urban redevelopment. Miss Agnes Sagebiel (left), city attorney of Fredericksburg and one of the few women city attorneys in Texas, was present for the board meeting. Published Fort Worth Star-Telegram Morning Edition July 27, 1944.
